As a development service provider for the aerospace industry, you are always working at the limit of what is currently technically possible, and you have always appreciated the support and possibilities of Computer Aided Design [CAD]. Therefore, CiTD never raised the issue of using Building Information Modeling [BIM] to plan infrastructure projects - rather, as a member of buildingSMART®, CiTD is one of the pioneers in the field, applying BIM consistently and with a wealth of experience. The objective here is to use the so-called "digital twin" from the initial planning through to disposal as a tool for optimized processes and significant cost savings for your customers.
In May 2018, CiTD and DUCTIM-X decided to work together in a close cooperation, especially in the plastics processing industry.

Mues Products & Moulds looks back on more than 50 years of success in mold making and plastic parts production by injection molding!
Today, Mues Products & Moulds manufactures on around 3,000 m2 high-end tools primarily for the automotive, medical, and electronics industries, as well as ready-to-assemble plastic parts on state-of-the-art injection molding machines with clamping forces of up to 850 tons. Investing in a 3D Coordinate Measuring Machine has resulted in a comprehensive quality control process that enables Mues Products & Moulds to provide its customers with accurate initial sample inspection reports as well as process capability proofs. Of course, the 3D coordinate measuring machines can also be used to precisely measure components and to become "reverse engineered" with the know-how of the engineers!
In October 2018, Mues Products & Moulds and DUCTIM-X entered into a cooperation for reverse engineering, in particular of plastic parts.
